AgZnO(8-10) |
Has good welding resistance, good electric wear resistance, low and stable contact resistance, short arcing time, high opening ability and strong capability against large current impact. Comparing to AgCdO, AgZnO material has better welding resistance, and has better arc erosion resistance under breaking current of 3000 ~ 5000 A. |
Mainly used to low-voltage circuit breakers of medium or small capacity with rated current within 200 A, such as DZ15 series circuit breakers with plastic covers, DZ15L series creepage circuit breakers. AgZnO material is also used in some switches of large capacity such as ME universal circuit breakers. |
